Robyn and Whitney: A Song For You
Friday, February 21st
6:00 – 8:00 pm
NYU Silver Center, Jurow Lecture Hall
32 Waverly Place, 1st Floor
(between University Place/Washington Square East and Greene Street)
A reading and book discussion with author Robyn Crawford, author of A Song for You: My Life with Whitney Houston (Dutton/Penguin Random House, 2019). Over the years Robyn Crawford, Whitney Houston’s close friend and confidant, deliberately chose to stay out of the spotlight, to remain silent. Even after Houston’s death in 2012, Crawford kept quiet despite being repeatedly asked to tell her story. Her new book, A Song For You, is more than a memoir; it’s an illuminating look into Houston’s brilliance and their private friendship. Join IAAA/CBVC’s Steven G. Fullwood in conversation with Crawford as they discuss the book in which Crawford charts her personal journey to health. Books will be available for purchase.
